One of the nation's leading academic and practice-based White Collar Criminal Defense Lawyers, Benson Weintraub represents individuals and corporations accused of complex financial offenses, including health care fraud and money laundering. 

Weintraub was appointed by Chief Judge Billy Wilkins of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit to the U.S. Sentencing Commission's initial advisory board where he assisted in the development of the Federal Sentencing Guidelines; he is a recognized expert in defense and academic application of the Guidelines.

Benson Weintraub has distinguished himself as a versatile lawyer and scholar.  In 2004, he served as a visiting professor at Hofstra University School of Law, from which he graduated in 1979.  He is widely published or cited in numerous law journals and a US District Court decision.

Weintraub provides technical assistance to members of the bar, clients, and corporations.  He has been a frequent lecturer for the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, American Bar Association, and Health Care Compliance Association.
